In this article, we will provide insight into why you may receive a copy of an email within Actionstep.
Copied Emails - Why am I receiving one?
You may have noticed that you have received an email that looks like this:
The subject line will start with "COPY" following with the matter number.
The reason you are receiving this email is that you are the "Assigned To" on this matter. For example, a user within your system has sent an email to a client that is relating to this matter. You (the "Assigned To") will not receive an email when the email is initially sent to the client. However, you (the "Assigned To") will receive a copy of this email chain when the client responds to this email.
This is an intended function of Actionstep. Also, this function cannot be turned off at the moment.
