In this article, you'll learn how to:
- Create a matter
- Create a contact
Creating a Matter
- Click on the Global Create Button
next to the matter/contact search bar in the top-right corner.
- Click on 'Matter' to proceed to the matter creation page, which will appear in the form of a pop-up screen within the current page.
- Select the type of matter you will be creating, then enter information about the matter, as per the screenshot below:

Any fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are required fields.
Please Note: You will need to have a System User assigned to the matter to change its step within the workflow ribbon. -
After you have filled in all the necessary fields, scroll to the bottom of the pop-up window and click on Create Matter.
You have now created a new matter.

Creating a Contact
- Click on the Global Create Button
next to the matter/contact search bar in the top-right corner.
- Click on 'Contacts' - a pop-up screen will appear as per the screenshot below:

Once you have filled out all the necessary fields, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
You have now created a new contact record.
