In this article, you will learn how to assign participant types to workflows.
Overview
Participant types can be used to classify groups of people within workflows. They are referred to as 'parties' within matters.
You must enable participant types at a workflow level in order to be able to add parties to a matter, as per the example shown in the screenshot below.
There are quite a large number of participant types available by default within the system, but if the one you are looking for is not available, you can add it to the system by following the directions on this article (coming soon!).
To add a new participant type against the workflow, click on the button.
You can then specify whether the following options:
Once you are happy with your settings, click on 'Save' to add the participant to the workflow.
