Actionstep offers an add-int hat allows you to see details about your matter, save attachments to and create new items for.
In this article, we will explain the ways that you can get the Actionstep plugin to display in your Outlook. If you have not installed the add-in yet, please see Setting up Actionstep's Outlook add-in for Office 365.
There are four scenario's where you will want to open the Actionstep plugin:

Opening the add-in panel from an email in your inbox or sent items on desktop Outlook
Select an email.
Make sure you are on the Home tab of your Outlook. Look for the Actionstep Actionstep button. You may see two buttons or the two buttons may be grouped under one.
Choose the Open Actionstep option.

Select an email.
In the top right hand side of the email will be a three-dot icon. Click on this and look for "Actionstep". Under that, select 'Open Actionstep'.

Similar to opening the panel on an email in your inbox or sent items, you will see an 'Open Actionstep' button in the buttons that appear along the top of your Outlook. Click on 'Open Actionstep'.

When composing an email in Outlook Online, you again, have to click on the three-dot icon. On a draft email, this icon is located below the email, in line with the Send and Discard buttons.
If you have used the panel before, you will see an Actionstep icon beside the three-dots. You can click on this to show the panel automatically.
