GlobalX is a land, property, and company search provider. Using the GlobalX integration with Actionstep provides document search, order history, and disbursement creation directly in your Actionstep matters.
This article outlines the process of setting up the integration for use within Actionstep.
This function is currently in feature preview, you will have to opt-in to use it.
To do this, go to your General Settings (Admin > General Settings), look under the Feature Preview section (the last section on the page) and switch GlobalX integration to 'on'.
To access the GlobalX integration, go to Admin > Integrations and scroll to GlobalX.
Select the Connect with GlobalX button
Switch the GlobalX integration toggle to On.
Fill out the following details:
|Disbursement income account||Specifies which GL Income account to which disbursements are allocated|
|Non-taxable disbursement income account||Specifies which GL Income account to which non-taxable disbursements are allocated. If left blank, will use the income account from above.|
|Sales tax code||Defines what tax code to use for taxable disbursements|
|Default region||Sets the default region for Matter searches|

Connecting GlobalX to a Matter
GlobalX can be accessed in a matter via the Plugins(3 dot) icon > GlobalX.
This will bring you to the GlobalX Document Search screen, on which you will be prompted to connect with GlobalX.
To connect, select the Connect button and log into GlobalX.
GlobalX Audit Log
The GlobalX Audit Log is a tool that tracks all communications between Actionstep and GlobalX. This Audit log can be useful to identify any issues that may occur.
The Audit Log can be accessed on the Integration page at Admin > Integrations > GlobalX. Then click the hyperlinked GlobalX Audit Log text.
