You have full control over the look and feel of the invoices that you create in Actionstep. You can change these by editing the source MS Word DOCX template and inserting merge fields for the live data. Actionstep will contain default templates which you can use or modify to suit your needs.
Invoices in Actionstep are completely customisable. The invoices Actionstep provides are examples and should not be relied on in terms of meeting any trust/accounting regulations. We suggest you double check your requirements and either create your own invoice template that meets your requirements or engage one of our Partners to assist you with this – our partners can be found here: Actionstep Partners
Accessing Built-in templates
To access Actionstep Built-in templates you would have to navigate to Admin > Billing > Custom bill templates >"Create new custom bill template"
From there you can download our Actionstep Built-in templates.
Uploading an Invoice template
Editing an existing template
If you are replacing an existing Template, click on the Template name and just replace the existing file.
You can download a copy of the existing template file by clicking the link under Current template, make changes to it and upload the template to overwrite the existing template.
You also have the ability to delete the custom bill template using the Delete button.
Invoice templates are only available for Practice Pro and PracticePro + Accounting databases. For Express databases, you would need to update your database to use this feature.
