Overview
Target hours are designed to allow users to compare the number of time entries they've made for a given day against what is expected of them.
After creating a time entry on your Timesheet screen you will notice a teal progress bar appear for the day to which that time record was associated.
Using default settings
By default, your target hours will reflect your workday start and workday end settings within your calendar preferences.
Changing via the My Profile screen
If you would like your target hours to reflect a number not reflective of your workday start and end you can do so via the User Profile Settings screen. To navigate to this screen you'll need to select your name in the top right-hand corner of your Actionstep window. This will bring you to your User Profile Settings screen. Towards the bottom of this screen you'll see a heading labeled Timekeeping. Under this heading you will see a Target hours for Daily Timesheets. Select your desired target hour and then select Save. You also have the ability to show weekends on timesheet, when enabled, the weekends are included in the week summary on your timesheet. When disabled you can still view a weekend by changing the date.
