Overview
Either summary information about tasks in the action, or the status of a specific default task (be sure to select tasks from an action that is in the source data for the list itself).
The Task Data that you can display in a column has been broken down into two types. There is are generic options called General Task Fields and then there are date completed options for all the tasks that you can have generated from a step change. Read below for more information.
General Task Fields
These are either summations or the most recent version of tasks for any particular matter. Because you can enter time against tasks (and time billing entries create tasks to hold the time billing).
Last Completed Task Name - Of all the tasks that have been created and completed in a matter, this will display the name of the most recently completed tasks name. The "Name" is the title of the task, not the description.
Last In Progress Task Name - Of all the tasks that have been created and are still "in progress" in a matter, this will display the name of the task that was recently marked as "in progress". The "Name" is the title of the task, not the description.
Last Not Started Task Name - Of all the tasks that have been created and have the status "not started" in a matter, this will be the
Due Date For Last Not Started Task Name - This will take the most recently created task for a matter and displays its due date.
Next Not Started Task Name - This will look at the tasks with the status "Not Started" for a matter and display the name of the task that is due to be completed next.
Due Date for Next Not Started Task Name - Like the Next Not Started Date above, this column will look at all the tasks with the status "Not Started" for the matter and display the due date of the task with the next due date. The first due date that will occur from today.
Total Actual Hours (Any State) - The total actual hours recorded against all tasks for this matter. These will be displays regardless of if the time that has been billed, waiting to be billed, is marked as non-billable or is on billing hold.
Total Billable Hours (Any State) - The total billable hours recorded against all tasks for this matter. These will be displays regardless of if the time that has been billed, waiting to be billed, is marked as non-billable, or is on billing hold.
Total Actual Hours * Billable Rate (Any State) - This will add together each actual hour that is recorded against the matter times the rate sheet that it was recorded against. So if you had 3 hours at $70 and 10 hours at $100 recorded against a matter, then it would display $1,210 against that matter. This will display all hours entered regardless of whether they have been billed or are waiting to be billed.
Total Billable Hours * Billable Rate (Any State) - This will add together each billable hour that is recorded against the matter times the rate sheet that it was recorded against. So if you had 3 hours at $70 and 10 hours at $100 recorded against a matter, then it would display $1,210 against that matter. This will display all hours entered regardless of whether they have been billed or are waiting to be billed.
Billable Tasks Amount (as per Action Billing) - This will display the amount of unbilled time associated with the matter per the matter billing screen.
Billable Disbursements Amount (as per Action Billing) - Totals the amount that you have invoiced for disbursements for this matter.
