Overview
This article will explain what to do if you or a user of your system is locked out of Actionstep due to being unable to complete the Multi-Factor Authentication process.
Non-Administrator Users
Contact a user of your system with the role of Administrator. Not all Administrators can disable MFA, as they will also need subscription authority.
Administrators with Subscription Authority
To allow a user to regain access the Actionstep system, you will need to disable MFA for that user.
To do this:
1. Go to Admin > Users & Permissions.
2. Select the User's name or the Edit button next to their name.
3. On the Edit user screen, find the Multifactor Authentication section.
4. Toggle the MFA Enabled button to off
5. Save the form.
Now, the user can access the system without Multifactor Authentication.
