Overview
This report takes every line of paid invoices in a line by line allocation based on the underlying time entries. The results can be grouped by Fee Earner, Salesperson (entered at invoice point) or Client. At the bottom of the report it shows a breakdown of the earnings by the Fee Earner.
This report is useful where you have fee earners who receive a split of the fee charged.
In instances where a single party is allocated a fee split based on all the fees received (for example the partner allocated to the matter) it is best to add this person as the Salesperson on the invoice, which will show the Salesperson as the group in this report, and would also show every line of time and the owner of that time. This report cannot be filtered by matter but you can export the report to excel for further analysis if required.
