There are two ways of viewing documents; (1) Browse Mode, and (2) Search Mode. You can toggle between the two by clicking the mode icon at the top of the document page:
Browse mode will show you a list of files in each folder.
Search mode will show you a list of files in any folder that matches the search criteria.
You can add search terms on the left and remove them from the top of the list.
Click on the column headings to sort by that column.
Sorting by Date
Each document has three dates associated with it:
- Modified Date: Last time the document was changed
- Create Date: Date the document was first created / uploaded to Actionstep
- Document Date: The "effective" date of the document. In some cases you may wish to define a special date for a document. For example the date of a letter or the contract date of an agreement. This date is independent of when the document was created or last modified.
If you click on the "Modified" column you can choose which date to display and sort by.
You can select all documents and folders within a folder by clicking the tick box beside "Name" in the header above your list of documents. If you want to download a large number of documents or folders at once you can use the Download option to zip up all those files at once.
