Overview

Discounts can be created in several areas of the program. These can be set on an individual matter or per bill basis.

Setting discounts in a matter

Go to Billing > Matter billing options in a matter.

Discounts can be set as a percent of bills or a fixed amount.

The discount displays on the bill and changes the total:

Selection the discount field prompts the user to enter a discount with the same options as the matter settings.

Discounts will appear on built-in bill templates:

The discount field can be added to custom templates by using the merge field:

SP_FeeDiscountAmount - to show the discounted amount
