Exporting Contacts from Clio to Import into Actionstep

Overview

This document is intended to guide you through the process of exporting your contact information from Clio and then importing it into Actionstep

Exporting Contacts from Clio

To export all contacts from Clio you must be logged in as an administrator.

1. Open the Contacts window and click the List Contacts view

2. Then select the  Export to File button at the bottom of the List Contacts page. Make sure Export All is selected int he export range section and change the Output Format to CSV then click Create Export. Once the export is created you can click the Download button - this will save the export file to your Downloads folder.

3. Open your Downloads folder and find the latest file (it usually has a string of numbers.csv or "All Contacts.csv" as the file name) and copy this file into a folder on your desktop. We will use this file to import the contacts into Actionstep.
