Forward the message to matters@abc.com and append id=abc:1234 to the subject line.
Wildcard Method
Forward the message to 1234@abc.com.
Scenario 2: You send an email from your external mailbox
You're not logged in to ActionStep and you send an email from your external mailbox and you want a copy saved to action ID 1234
Subject Line Method
BCC the message to matters@abc.com and append id=abc:1234 to the subject line.
Wildcard Method
BCC the message to 1234@abc.com.
Scenario 3: You receive an email in ActionStep but you're not logged in
You can setup your Email Preferences in ActionStep to automatically copy any messages to your external mailbox when ActionStep receives a message. The subject line of the message will show the word "(COPY)" to make it clear that this is just a copy, and the original is already in ActionStep.
