Related matters allow you to make one matter in Actionstep related to another. Once you have set up related matters you can use the custom list view to report on these related matters.
Reporting on your Related Matter Types
You can access your custom list views by going to Admin - Custom List Views and clicking on matter list views. Go to Create New List (Green button) on the right hand side.
An example of a custom list view is below.
To report on related matters (like the example above in relation to Date Moved to Conveyancing and Date Moved to Immigration) - this date shows the date that my matter went from an initial enquiry to an actual immigration or conveyancing workflow. So I can use the filers to see how many matters turned into engaged work and I could also report on why some initial consults did not proceed to engagement by reporting on a custom data field Not proceeding.
