Overview
To set up your Actionstep integration you must first request access to the Actionstep settings from your reseller. Once your reseller has approved your request you will see an “Actionstep” link in the top bar of the VIP VoIP portal.
Clicking that link will take you to the page for pairing your VIP VoIP account with your Actionstep account. Click the button that says “Click Here To Pair”.
Once you have clicked that button you will be taken to your Actionstep account to authorise the pairing. Sign in using your Actionstep credentials and follow any on screen instructions.
Once the pairing is complete you will be returned to the VIP VoIP portal and should see the message below indicating the pairing was successful.
Now that the pairing is active, VIP VoIP will attempt to match call recordings against your clients and attach them to their active matters as file notes and or time entries. You will be able to see the details of the call recording and download them.
To unpair your account, go back to the Actionstep area of the VIP VoIP portal and select “Click Here To Unpair”.
We recommend that you have our Chrome plugin installed, which will allow users to initiate calls to contacts by hovering over their phone number and then clicking the call popup.
