Overview
The “Comms” menu displays lists of all communications within Actionstep; Emails, Sales Emails, and Phone Calls. You can view a list of your phone calls either from within a matter, or from the Comms menu on the navigation bar to see a full list of all the phone calls in Actionstep.
Viewing Phone Calls in a Matter
To view a list of any phone calls associated with a particular matter, navigate to the matter and hover over the Comms menu, then select the Phone Calls option. You will be presented with a list of any phone calls that have been recorded against the matter, along with the details of each, including the parties on the call, the phone number, and any notes about the call. You can sort this list by any column by clicking the column header or filter the list by any visible column using the Filter button in the top left.
Viewing All Phone Calls
Under the Comms menu on the main navigation panel at the top right of any Actionstep screen, you will find an option for Phone Calls. Selecting this option will display a list view like the matter Phone Calls list view, but the Comms Menu list will display a full list of any phone calls in Actionstep. This list is sortable and filterable as well, and displays the same details you will find in the matter Phone Calls lists, with the additional feature of filtering the list by Matter ID.
