Overview:
This is an article that contains information from our How To... "Change Your Landing Pages"
Get to the information you need in Actionstep faster!
In Actionstep, you can now configure what landing page/screen view you navigate to when you first login. From there you can then navigate to your preferrable page views. This will reduce the number of clicks you make to get to the information you need to access.
The first screen you will view after logging into your Actionstep system can now be adjusted to your preferred view, for example, you can adjust this to automatically show:
- The Task Screen
- The Dashboard/Matter Screen
- The Contacts List
- The Accounting Screen
After you open a Matter you can also navigate to your preferable page views, such as:
- The Parties Screen
- The Tasks Screen
- The File Notes Screen
- The Documents Screen
Multiple Database Users:
If you have access to multiple databases, you can change the ‘Always Show Launchpad’ option to on - this means that you will not automatically go into the last database you worked in.

Marketing Overview Screen
This setting gives you the option to have the marketing overview screen as your default when you open a matter. This is useful if you are using Marketing Functions in Actionstep. The Marketing overview screen will show you the different types of income your marketing activities are bringing in.
